New Fiction and Non-Fiction-

We have several of the latest fiction and non-fiction books.

Large Type Books-

We have a large collection of large type books by authors such as Beverly Lewis, Karen Kingsbury, Janette Oke, and many others.

Children's Area-

In our children's area we have popular books such as Clifford, Arthur, Dr. Suess, and many more.  Our children's area is also where you will find the children's computers with great kids games on them.  Our bag-it kits, and children's magazines are also located in this section.

Juvenile Fiction-

Our juvenile fiction section contains favorites, such as Spiderwick Chronicles, Harry Potter, Junie B. Jones, Hannah Montana, American Girl, and many others.

Juvenile Non-Fiction-

If your child wants to learn about bugs, horses, weather, or government, this is the place to be.  There are also books about crafts, science, and many other topics.

Audio Books-

We have a large selection of audio books, for both adults and children.  Our children's audios include Harry Potter, Junie B. Jones, Lemony Snicket, and several others.  The adult audios include books by Nora Roberts, James Patterson, Janet Evanovich and many more.

Computer Software-

We have several selections of educational and fun computer software for your home computer.

Movies-

We have a large collection of DVD and VHS movies.  We have many of the latest titles in DVD, as well as many older favorites.  We also have a wide variety of children's movies.

Adult Non-Fiction-

Self-help books, cookbooks, how-to books, and other topics are located in the adult non-fiction section.

Adult Fiction-

Beverly Lewis, Tom Clancy, V.C. Andrews, and many other novelists are located here.

Biographies-

Biographies such as Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama, Martin Luther King Jr, John F. Kennedy, Princess Diana, and many others are located in this section.

Paperbacks-

We have a variety of paperbacks.  Western, Romance, Paranormal, Sci-Fi, are just a few.

Young Adult-

Our YA section is especially for those children too old for the children's section but too young for the adult section.  Here, you will find fiction authors like Meg Cabot, James Patterson, and Melissa De La Cruz.  You can also find non-fiction topics such as drug abuse, juvenile crime, eating disorders, and several others.  The young adult magazines such as, Twist, Cosmo Girl and Seventeen are also in this section.  There are also several graphic novels such as Marvel, Harlequin Pink, and Hardy Boys.  We also have several YA audio books.

Magazines-

We provide a large selection of all of the popular magazines.  Country Living, Good Housekeeping, Popular Mechanics, National Enquirer, Parents, People, and Rolling Stone are just a few.  The current issues aren't available for check out by back issues are. 

Maps and Atlases-

We have several maps and atlases that are available for use at the library.

CDs-

Our collection of CDs consists of everything from gospel to musicals.  We also have a small selection of children's CDs located near the juvenile audios.

The Kentucky Room-

The Kentucky Room is where you will find several books by Kentucky authors.  The microfilm is also located there.  We have newspapers on microfilm dating back to 1880.  Genealogy family files are also found there.

Notary-

We offer free notary services from 8:30am-4:00pm.  You must have a photo id with you when you come in to get something notarized.  Our notary services exclude automobile transfers and titles.

Copies-

The library staff will be glad to make copies for you.  Copies are $.10 a page for a standard 8 1/2 by 11 page.  Fees vary for different sizes of paper.

Faxes-

We send and receive faxes at the library.  To receive a fax, we charge $.50 per page.  To send a fax to a toll free or local number, it is a flat $1.00 fee regardless of number of pages.  For long distance faxes, it is $2.00 for the first page, and $1.00 for each additional page.  We also send international faxes for an additional charge.

Computers-

We have 14 computers that have internet and printing capabilities.  There is a list of computer guidelines that are located at the circulation desk.  We ask that you read over these before using our computers.  There are also several laptops that are available for your use.  For details, please ask at the desk.   The charge for printing is $.10 for black and white, and $.25 for color.  Please be sure that you are printing the correct pages, because you will be charged for whatever you print.
