People come from all over the United States to search the Mt. Sterling-Montgomery County Library's Kentucky Room.   We have a large selection of family files, microfilm, and genealogy books.

If you can not visit our library, our staff member, Kathleen Shearer, will search the library's Kentucky Room and mail you
copies of what she can find, based on the information you send.

We also have access to 2 genealogy databases.  Heritage Quest can be accessed from your home computer.   Ancestry Library can be accessed on the computers at the library.  For more details, please contact one of the library staff members.
